Articles of Association

 

Article 1 - An association called Musae - Progetto Cultura has been established , the Association is based in the city of Catania. The duration of the Association is unlimited.
Article 2 - The Association is partyless and not for political or financial gain. Its sole object is to perform all activities aimed to foster the social promotion and the organization of recreational and cultural acticities, environmental protection, promotion and enhancement of things of artistic and historic interest, the promotion of culture and art, without exclusion of any similar or related activities.
In particular, the Association, through the design and management of cultural and artistic events and the organization of courses, conferences, seminars, workshops, promotion of meetings between members and experts, has as objectives:

  • The valorisation, management, promotion and fruition of tangible and intangible cultural heritage;

 

  • The planning, implementation and management of projects of international cooperation;

 

  • Provide trainings and dissemination of knowledge.


Is characteristic of the Association that cultural and intercultural activities are a factor of social development, and takes care, from the design to the activation of projects, of the economic impact of its initiatives.
In addition, the Association, by specific resolutions, may:

  • Exert in purely marginal and non-profit way commercial activities for self-financing: in this case must comply with the administrative and fiscal regulations in force;

 

  • Carry out all those other activities necessary or useful for the attainment of its objectives.

 

Article 3 - To better achieve its purposes, may join and cooperate with all national and foreign companies pursuing its own goals. It should however always maintain complete independence in respect of the organs of government, public and private enterprises, trade unions.

Article 4 - The bodies of the Association are:

a) the members' meeting, b) the board of directors, c) the president; d) the auditors.
